Richard awarded British Empire Medal in the King’s Birthday Honours

We are extremely proud to announce that Richard has been awarded the British Empire Medal, in the 2026 Kings birthday honours list.

Richard has received this recognition for services to youth cancer treatment through charitable fundraising. Every year Richard hosts a race day at Brighton racecourse to raise funds for Teenage Cancer Trust.

If things go according to plan, this year Richard Soan Roofing Services will have raised more than half a million pounds for the charity, an incredible achievement.

The next race day is being held on Friday 7th August.
